As Nick Wallerstein '77 plans for his own future, he has made a provision in his will for Middlesex. Nick came to Middlesex on a scholarship and, through a bequest, hopes to enrich the education of students like him. "Attending Middlesex was an honor and a privilege," he says, "and I want to give something meaningful back to the School."
Nick's Middlesex experience sparked his career; Al Nelson '53 and Kit Cohane '59 had a profound effect on him, leading him to major in English literature in college and then pursue a teaching career. He has taught at Black Hills State University in South Dakota since 1997 and recently became a full professor in English there.
"Through estate planning I'm able to give more than I thought possible in my lifetime," says Nick. "I hope that my gesture will inspire generations of Middlesex students." You can make a bequest to Middlesex by creating a new will, adding a codicil to your present will, or including Middlesex in your revocable or irrevocable trust.
