When Professor Charles Henderson '40 added to the Middlesex Pooled Income Fund he received a charitable tax deduction and an income for his lifetime. At the time of his death the funds will go to the Charles W. Locke Chair for Distinguished Teaching, honoring a man who made a significant early contribution to Professor Henderson's professional life and enabling him to support an aspect of a Middlesex education that has remained central to his personal and professional life for more than 65 years.
